1. ABOUT THE INTRODUCTION LLC

The Introduction LLC ("The Introduction," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") is a Utah limited liability company (Entity No. 14669325-0160) with its principal office at 277 E 340 S, Orem, UT 84058. The Introduction operates an introduction and dating service at jointheintroduction.com (the "Website" and "Service"). The Company facilitates introductions but does not guarantee romantic compatibility, relationships, marriage, or any specific outcome.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Member," or "you") and The Introduction LLC governing your access to and use of the Website and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing the Website, creating an account, completing the intake process, or purchasing a membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Website with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND PROTECTION OF MINORS

3.1 Eligibility Requirements

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age;

  • Be legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable law;

  • Not be currently married or in a legally recognized domestic partnership (unless legally separated and disclosed to the Company);

  • Not have been convicted of a felony or any violent crime, sexual offense, or crime involving dishonesty or fraud;

  • Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and throughout your membership;

  • Not be a competitor of The Introduction LLC or acting on behalf of a competitor;

  • Reside or be located within the geographic areas served by The Introduction LLC.

The Introduction reserves the right to verify eligibility and to refuse, suspend, or terminate any account at any time if these requirements are not met.

3.2 No Minors — COPPA Notice

THE SERVICE IS STRICTLY INTENDED FOR ADULTS 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER. The Introduction LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18, and this Service is not directed at minors. Our practices are intended to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), 15 U.S.C. § 6501 et seq.

If we discover that a person under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete that information and terminate the associated account. If you believe a minor has created an account or submitted personal information to us, please notify us immediately at hello@jointheintroduction.com.

4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION, SECURITY, AND DELETION

4.1 Registration

To access the Service, you must create a member account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information; maintain and update your account information promptly; keep your login credentials confidential; notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access; and accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You may not create more than one (1) active account without our express written permission.

4.2 Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at hello@jointheintroduction.com with "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. Upon receipt of a verified deletion request, we will:

  • Deactivate your account within ten (10) business days;

  • Delete or anonymize your personal information from our active databases, subject to any retention obligations required by law or legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention and record-keeping);

  • Confirm deletion in writing to the email address on file.

Please note that account deletion does not automatically entitle you to a refund of any paid membership fees. Refund eligibility is governed by the cancellation and refund provisions of your Member Contract. Additionally, certain residual copies of your information may remain in backup systems for a limited period consistent with our data retention policies.

5. THE SERVICE — DESCRIPTION AND LIMITATIONS

5.1 Nature of the Service

The Introduction provides a membership-based introduction service. The Company facilitates introductions between Members who may be compatible for dating or romantic relationships. The service may include personal consultations, curated match suggestions, coordinated introductions, and related support services.

5.2 No Guarantee of Results

THE INTRODUCTION LLC DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP, COMPATIBILITY, MARRIAGE, OR ANY OTHER PERSONAL RESULT. The success of any introduction depends on many factors beyond the Company's control, including each Member's individual personality, preferences, behavior, honesty, and personal circumstances.

5.3 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. The Introduction shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

6. MEMBER CONDUCT AND PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

By using the Service, you agree to conduct yourself in a lawful, respectful, and honest manner at all times. You expressly agree NOT to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or deceptive information in your profile or in any communication through the Service;

  • Harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harm any other Member, staff member, or third party;

  • Engage in any form of discriminatory conduct based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic;

  • Solicit money, gifts, loans, or financial information from other Members;

  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose, including soliciting business or advertising;

  • Post, share, or transmit any obscene, offensive, defamatory, or sexually explicit content;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other Members' accounts or the Company's systems;

  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or other unauthorized means to access or collect information from the Service;

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation;

  • Attempt to circumvent any safety or screening measures implemented by the Company;

  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Violation of this Section may result in immediate termination of your membership without refund and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.

7. PROFILE AND CONTENT STANDARDS

7.1 Profile Accuracy

Your profile must accurately represent you. You must use your real name (or a name approved by The Introduction LLC) and contact information.

7.2 Photo/Video Standards

All videos posted in Marco Polo submitted to The Introduction LLC must comply with the following standards:

  • Photos must be recent (taken within the past two years) and clearly show your face;

  • Photos or videos must not contain nudity, sexually suggestive content, or partial nudity;

  • Photos or videos must not depict minors (anyone under age 18);

  • Photos or videos must not contain the image of any other identifiable person without that person's express consent;

  • You must own or have the legal right to use any photograph or video you submit — do not submit photos or videos protected by third-party copyright;

  • Videos must not contain offensive symbols, hate speech, or imagery promoting illegal activity;

  • Digitally altered or heavily filtered photos that misrepresent your appearance are prohibited.

The Introduction LLC reserves the right to remove any video that violates these standards, with or without notice.

7.3 User-Submitted Content License

By submitting any content to the Service (including profile information, photographs, and messages sent through the platform), you grant The Introduction LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service. This license terminates when your content is deleted from the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license.

7.4 Feedback and Suggestions

If you submit ideas, suggestions, feedback, or recommendations about the Service ("Feedback"), you acknowledge that: (a) the Feedback does not contain confidential or proprietary information; (b) The Introduction LLC is not under any obligation to keep the Feedback confidential; (c) The Introduction LLC may use the Feedback for any purpose without any compensation or attribution to you; and (d) you irrevocably assign to The Introduction LLC all rights in the Feedback.

8. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF MEMBER INFORMATION

The Introduction LLC is committed to protecting your personal information. Our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference and available on the Website.

You acknowledge that in the course of using the Service, you may receive personal information about other Members. You agree to:

  • Treat all personal information shared by other Members with the utmost confidentiality and respect;

  • Use information about other Members solely for the purposes of participating in the Service;

  • Not share, publish, or disclose any other Member's personal information to any third party without that Member's express written consent;

  • Not screenshot, record, or otherwise capture any other Member's profile or correspondence without that Member's express consent;

  • Not use any Member's information to stalk, harass, solicit, or harm that Member in any way.

9. COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT

9.1 Electronic Communications

By creating an account or providing your email address, you consent to receive electronic communications from The Introduction LLC, including service-related emails, account notifications,, and administrative messages. These communications are part of the Service and you may not opt out of strictly necessary service communications while your account remains active.

9.2 Marketing Communications

With your separate consent (provided during account registration or subsequently), we may also send you promotional emails, newsletters, and marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by emailing hello@jointheintroduction.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. Opting out of marketing communications will not affect your receipt of service-related messages.

9.3 SMS and Text Messages

If you provide a mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages, The Introduction LLC may send you SMS notifications regarding your account, and Service updates. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us, or by contacting us at hello@jointheintroduction.com. By providing your mobile number, you represent that you are the account holder for that number and that you consent to receive text messages at that number. Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any Service.

9.4 CAN-SPAM and TCPA Compliance

Our email communications comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq. Our SMS communications are intended to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA"), 47 U.S.C. § 227. If you believe you have received a communication in violation of these laws, please contact us immediately at hello@jointheintroduction.com.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND DMCA POLICY

10.1 Our Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, data compilations, and software — is the property of The Introduction LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Website solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.

10.2 DMCA Copyright Takedown Procedure

The Introduction LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing the following to our designated DMCA agent:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;

  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;

  • A description of the material you claim is infringing and its location on the Service (e.g., URL or profile identifier);

  • Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address);

  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

11. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services ("Third-Party Sites") that are not owned or controlled by The Introduction LLC. These links are provided solely for your convenience and informational purposes.

THE INTRODUCTION LLC HAS NO CONTROL OVER, AND ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR, THE CONTENT, PRIVACY POLICIES, ACCURACY, OR PRACTICES OF ANY THIRD-PARTY SITES. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by The Introduction LLC of the linked site or service. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy and terms of service of every Third-Party Site you visit.

If you choose to interact with or make purchases through Third-Party Sites, you do so at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of those sites.

12. DISCLAIMERS

12.1 No Background Check Guarantee

While The Introduction LLC may conduct certain screening procedures, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR CURRENCY OF ANY BACKGROUND SCREENING. Members are responsible for exercising their own judgment and taking reasonable precautions when meeting other individuals through the Service.

12.2 Third-Party Conduct

THE INTRODUCTION LLC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT, ACTIONS, OR OMISSIONS OF ANY MEMBER, EITHER ONLINE OR OFFLINE. You agree that The Introduction LLC bears no responsibility for the behavior of Members before, during, or after any introduction facilitated through the Service.

12.3 Service Availability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. The Introduction does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE INTRODUCTION LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill;

  • Personal injury or property damage of any nature whatsoever;

  • Unauthorized access to or use of your personal information;

  • Conduct of any third party on or through the Service;

  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service;

  • Any content obtained through use of the Service.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE INTRODUCTION LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO THE INTRODUCTION LLC IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY. SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Introduction LLC, its members, managers, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives ("Indemnified Parties") from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of or access to the Service;

  • Your violation of these Terms;

  • Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;

  • Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service;

  • Your conduct in connection with any introduction, date, or meeting facilitated through the Service;

  • Any false, inaccurate, or misleading information you provide to the Company or to other Members.

The Introduction LLC reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate fully with the Company's defense of any such claim.

15. PERSONAL SAFETY

YOUR SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US. However, The Introduction LLC cannot guarantee the safety of any in-person meeting. We strongly encourage all Members to:

  • Meet in a public place for initial introductions;

  • Inform a trusted friend or family member of your plans;

  • Arrange your own transportation to and from meetings;

  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, remove yourself from the situation;

  • Report any concerning behavior to The Introduction LLC immediately at hello@jointheintroduction.com;

  • Never share sensitive financial or personal identification information with another Member.

BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THE INHERENT RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH MEETING STRANGERS, AND YOU AGREE THAT THE INTRODUCTION LLC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HARM, LOSS, OR INJURY THAT MAY ARISE FROM IN-PERSON MEETINGS WITH OTHER MEMBERS.

16. BLOCKING, REPORTING, AND ENFORCEMENT

16.1 Blocking

Members may request that The Introduction LLC prevent a specific Member from contacting them by notifying us in writing at hello@jointheintroduction.com. The Introduction LLC will use commercially reasonable efforts to honor such requests, but cannot guarantee the prevention of all contact, particularly outside the Service platform.

16.2 Reporting Misconduct

If you encounter conduct that you believe violates these Terms, poses a safety risk, or is otherwise inappropriate, you are encouraged to report it to The Introduction LLC immediately by emailing hello@jointheintroduction.com with the subject line "Misconduct Report." Please include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the incident, the date it occurred, and any other relevant information.

16.3 Our Response

The Introduction LLC will review all reports in good faith and take such action as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion, which may include warning a Member, suspending or terminating a Member's account, or referring the matter to law enforcement. The Introduction LLC is not obligated to take any particular action, and its response to any report is not a guarantee of any specific outcome.

16.4 No Retaliation

The Introduction LLC strictly prohibits retaliation against any Member who, in good faith, reports a concern or cooperates in an investigation. Any Member found to have engaged in retaliation may have their account immediately terminated.

17. SUBSCRIPTION BILLING AND AUTO-RENEWAL DISCLOSURE

17.1 Billing

Membership fees are charged as set forth in your Member Contract. By providing payment information and enrolling in a membership, you authorize The Introduction LLC to charge the applicable fees to your designated payment method.

17.2 Auto-Renewal

IMPORTANT AUTO-RENEWAL NOTICE: Unless your membership is expressly designated as non-renewing, your membership will AUTOMATICALLY RENEW at the end of each subscription period for a successive period of the same duration at the then-current membership rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Prior to any auto-renewal, The Introduction LLC will send a renewal reminder to the email address on file at least fourteen (14) days before your renewal date. It is your responsibility to ensure your email address is current and to monitor renewal notices.

17.3 How to Cancel Auto-Renewal

To cancel auto-renewal and prevent the next billing cycle, you must provide written cancellation notice to The Introduction LLC at hello@jointheintroduction.com at least five (5) business days before your renewal date. Cancellation after the renewal date has been charged will not entitle you to a refund of the renewed term's fees, except as required by applicable law.

17.4 Price Changes on Renewal

The Introduction LLC reserves the right to change membership pricing. You will be notified of any price change at least thirty (30) days before your renewal date. Continued membership after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

18. FORCE MAJEURE

The Introduction LLC shall not be liable for any delay in or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms to the extent such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God; natural disasters; pandemic or epidemic; fire; flood; earthquake; war; terrorism; civil unrest; governmental actions or regulations; internet or telecommunications outages; power failures; labor disputes or strikes; or any other event beyond the Company's reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event").

In the event of a Force Majeure Event, The Introduction LLC will use commercially reasonable efforts to resume normal operations as soon as practicable and will notify affected Members of the situation. If a Force Majeure Event prevents the delivery of contracted services for a period exceeding sixty (60) consecutive days, Members affected may be entitled to a prorated refund of prepaid, unused fees for the period during which services were unavailable.

19. TERMINATION

Either party may terminate the Member relationship at any time, subject to the terms of the Member Contract. The Introduction LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:

  • Violation of these Terms or the Member Contract;

  • Conduct that we believe is harmful to other Members or to the Company;

  • Providing false or misleading information;

  • Failure to pay applicable fees;

  • Any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7.4, 8, 10, 13, 14, 20, and 21 shall survive any termination of these Terms.

20. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

20.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The parties acknowledge that this Service constitutes an "introduction service" as defined under applicable Utah law, including the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act (Utah Code § 13-11 et seq.). In the event of any legal actions, the prevailing party shall be entitled to attorney’s fees and court costs. 

20.2 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact The Introduction LLC at hello@jointheintroduction.com and make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute informally within thirty (30) days of providing written notice.

20.3 Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered in Utah County, Utah, in accordance with the then-current rules of a mutually agreed-upon arbitration organization. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

20.4 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND THE INTRODUCTION LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

20.5 Venue

For any matter not subject to arbitration, you agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.

21. UTAH DATING SERVICE — CONSUMER RIGHTS NOTICE

Pursuant to applicable Utah law, including the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act, Members of The Introduction LLC have the following rights:

  • RIGHT TO CANCEL: You have the right to cancel your membership contract within three (3) business days of signing the Member Contract, without penalty, by providing written notice to The Introduction LLC at hello@jointheintroduction.com or 277 E 340 S, Orem, UT 84058.

  • REFUNDS: Upon timely cancellation within the statutory period, any payments made will be refunded within ten (10) business days.

  • WRITTEN CONTRACT: You are entitled to receive a written copy of your Member Contract at the time of signing.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any rights you may have under applicable Utah consumer protection laws.

22. MISCELLANEOUS

22.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Member Contract and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Introduction LLC regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.

22.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

22.3 Waiver

The failure of The Introduction LLC to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

22.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. The Introduction LLC may assign its rights and obligations without restriction.

22.5 Electronic Communications Consent

You consent to receive communications from us electronically. All agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

22.6 Headings

Section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.

The Introduction LLC ("The Introduction," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") is a Utah limited liability company (Entity No. 14669325-0160) with its principal office at 277 E 340 S, Orem, UT 84058. The Introduction operates an introduction and dating service at jointheintroduction.com (the "Website" and "Service"). The Company facilitates introductions but does not guarantee romantic compatibility, relationships, marriage, or any specific outcome.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Member," or "you") and The Introduction LLC governing your access to and use of the Website and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing the Website, creating an account, completing the intake process, or purchasing a membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Website with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND PROTECTION OF MINORS

3.1 Eligibility Requirements

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age;

  • Be legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable law;

  • Not be currently married or in a legally recognized domestic partnership (unless legally separated and disclosed to the Company);

  • Not have been convicted of a felony or any violent crime, sexual offense, or crime involving dishonesty or fraud;

  • Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and throughout your membership;

  • Not be a competitor of The Introduction LLC or acting on behalf of a competitor;

  • Reside or be located within the geographic areas served by The Introduction LLC.

The Introduction reserves the right to verify eligibility and to refuse, suspend, or terminate any account at any time if these requirements are not met.

3.2 No Minors — COPPA Notice

THE SERVICE IS STRICTLY INTENDED FOR ADULTS 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER. The Introduction LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18, and this Service is not directed at minors. Our practices are intended to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), 15 U.S.C. § 6501 et seq.

If we discover that a person under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete that information and terminate the associated account. If you believe a minor has created an account or submitted personal information to us, please notify us immediately at hello@jointheintroduction.com.

4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION, SECURITY, AND DELETION

4.1 Registration

To access the Service, you must create a member account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information; maintain and update your account information promptly; keep your login credentials confidential; notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access; and accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You may not create more than one (1) active account without our express written permission.

4.2 Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at hello@jointheintroduction.com with "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. Upon receipt of a verified deletion request, we will:

  • Deactivate your account within ten (10) business days;

  • Delete or anonymize your personal information from our active databases, subject to any retention obligations required by law or legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention and record-keeping);

  • Confirm deletion in writing to the email address on file.

Please note that account deletion does not automatically entitle you to a refund of any paid membership fees. Refund eligibility is governed by the cancellation and refund provisions of your Member Contract. Additionally, certain residual copies of your information may remain in backup systems for a limited period consistent with our data retention policies.

5. THE SERVICE — DESCRIPTION AND LIMITATIONS

5.1 Nature of the Service

The Introduction provides a membership-based introduction service. The Company facilitates introductions between Members who may be compatible for dating or romantic relationships. The service may include personal consultations, curated match suggestions, coordinated introductions, and related support services.

5.2 No Guarantee of Results

THE INTRODUCTION LLC DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP, COMPATIBILITY, MARRIAGE, OR ANY OTHER PERSONAL RESULT. The success of any introduction depends on many factors beyond the Company's control, including each Member's individual personality, preferences, behavior, honesty, and personal circumstances.

5.3 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. The Introduction shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

6. MEMBER CONDUCT AND PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

By using the Service, you agree to conduct yourself in a lawful, respectful, and honest manner at all times. You expressly agree NOT to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or deceptive information in your profile or in any communication through the Service;

  • Harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harm any other Member, staff member, or third party;

  • Engage in any form of discriminatory conduct based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic;

  • Solicit money, gifts, loans, or financial information from other Members;

  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose, including soliciting business or advertising;

  • Post, share, or transmit any obscene, offensive, defamatory, or sexually explicit content;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other Members' accounts or the Company's systems;

  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or other unauthorized means to access or collect information from the Service;

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation;

  • Attempt to circumvent any safety or screening measures implemented by the Company;

  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Violation of this Section may result in immediate termination of your membership without refund and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.

7. PROFILE AND CONTENT STANDARDS

7.1 Profile Accuracy

Your profile must accurately represent you. You must use your real name (or a name approved by The Introduction LLC) and contact information.

7.2 Photo/Video Standards

All videos posted in Marco Polo submitted to The Introduction LLC must comply with the following standards:

  • Photos must be recent (taken within the past two years) and clearly show your face;

  • Photos or videos must not contain nudity, sexually suggestive content, or partial nudity;

  • Photos or videos must not depict minors (anyone under age 18);

  • Photos or videos must not contain the image of any other identifiable person without that person's express consent;

  • You must own or have the legal right to use any photograph or video you submit — do not submit photos or videos protected by third-party copyright;

  • Videos must not contain offensive symbols, hate speech, or imagery promoting illegal activity;

  • Digitally altered or heavily filtered photos that misrepresent your appearance are prohibited.

The Introduction LLC reserves the right to remove any video that violates these standards, with or without notice.

7.3 User-Submitted Content License

By submitting any content to the Service (including profile information, photographs, and messages sent through the platform), you grant The Introduction LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service. This license terminates when your content is deleted from the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license.

7.4 Feedback and Suggestions

If you submit ideas, suggestions, feedback, or recommendations about the Service ("Feedback"), you acknowledge that: (a) the Feedback does not contain confidential or proprietary information; (b) The Introduction LLC is not under any obligation to keep the Feedback confidential; (c) The Introduction LLC may use the Feedback for any purpose without any compensation or attribution to you; and (d) you irrevocably assign to The Introduction LLC all rights in the Feedback.

8. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF MEMBER INFORMATION

The Introduction LLC is committed to protecting your personal information. Our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference and available on the Website.

You acknowledge that in the course of using the Service, you may receive personal information about other Members. You agree to:

  • Treat all personal information shared by other Members with the utmost confidentiality and respect;

  • Use information about other Members solely for the purposes of participating in the Service;

  • Not share, publish, or disclose any other Member's personal information to any third party without that Member's express written consent;

  • Not screenshot, record, or otherwise capture any other Member's profile or correspondence without that Member's express consent;

  • Not use any Member's information to stalk, harass, solicit, or harm that Member in any way.

9. COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT

9.1 Electronic Communications

By creating an account or providing your email address, you consent to receive electronic communications from The Introduction LLC, including service-related emails, account notifications,, and administrative messages. These communications are part of the Service and you may not opt out of strictly necessary service communications while your account remains active.

9.2 Marketing Communications

With your separate consent (provided during account registration or subsequently), we may also send you promotional emails, newsletters, and marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by emailing hello@jointheintroduction.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. Opting out of marketing communications will not affect your receipt of service-related messages.

9.3 SMS and Text Messages

If you provide a mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages, The Introduction LLC may send you SMS notifications regarding your account, and Service updates. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us, or by contacting us at hello@jointheintroduction.com. By providing your mobile number, you represent that you are the account holder for that number and that you consent to receive text messages at that number. Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any Service.

9.4 CAN-SPAM and TCPA Compliance

Our email communications comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq. Our SMS communications are intended to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA"), 47 U.S.C. § 227. 10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND DMCA POLICY

10.1 Our Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, data compilations, and software — is the property of The Introduction LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Website solely for personal, non-commercial use. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by The Introduction LLC of the linked site or service. If you choose to interact with or make purchases through Third-Party Sites, you do so at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of those sites.

12. DISCLAIMERS

12.1 No Background Check Guarantee

While The Introduction LLC may conduct certain screening procedures, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR CURRENCY OF ANY BACKGROUND SCREENING. Members are responsible for exercising their own judgment and taking reasonable precautions when meeting other individuals through the Service.

12.2 Third-Party Conduct

THE INTRODUCTION LLC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT, ACTIONS, OR OMISSIONS OF ANY MEMBER, EITHER ONLINE OR OFFLINE. You agree that The Introduction LLC bears no responsibility for the behavior of Members before, during, or after any introduction facilitated through the Service.

12.3 Service Availability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. The Introduction does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE INTRODUCTION LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill;

  • Personal injury or property damage of any nature whatsoever;

  • Unauthorized access to or use of your personal information;

  • Conduct of any third party on or through the Service;

  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service;

  • Any content obtained through use of the Service.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE INTRODUCTION LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO THE INTRODUCTION LLC IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY. SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Introduction LLC, its members, managers, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives ("Indemnified Parties") from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of or access to the Service;

  • Your violation of these Terms;

  • Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;

  • Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service;

  • Your conduct in connection with any introduction, date, or meeting facilitated through the Service;

  • Any false, inaccurate, or misleading information you provide to the Company or to other Members.

The Introduction LLC reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate fully with the Company's defense of any such claim.

15. PERSONAL SAFETY

YOUR SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US. However, The Introduction LLC cannot guarantee the safety of any in-person meeting. We strongly encourage all Members to:

  • Meet in a public place for initial introductions;

  • Inform a trusted friend or family member of your plans;

  • Arrange your own transportation to and from meetings;

  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, remove yourself from the situation;

  • Report any concerning behavior to The Introduction LLC immediately at hello@jointheintroduction.com;

  • Never share sensitive financial or personal identification information with another Member.

BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THE INHERENT RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH MEETING STRANGERS, AND YOU AGREE THAT THE INTRODUCTION LLC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HARM, LOSS, OR INJURY THAT MAY ARISE FROM IN-PERSON MEETINGS WITH OTHER MEMBERS.

16. BLOCKING, REPORTING, AND ENFORCEMENT

16.1 Blocking

Members may request that The Introduction LLC prevent a specific Member from contacting them by notifying us in writing at hello@jointheintroduction.com. The Introduction LLC will use commercially reasonable efforts to honor such requests, but cannot guarantee the prevention of all contact, particularly outside the Service platform.

16.2 Reporting Misconduct

If you encounter conduct that you believe violates these Terms, poses a safety risk, or is otherwise inappropriate, you are encouraged to report it to The Introduction LLC immediately by emailing hello@jointheintroduction.com with the subject line "Misconduct Report." Please include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the incident, the date it occurred, and any other relevant information.

16.3 Our Response

The Introduction LLC will review all reports in good faith and take such action as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion, which may include warning a Member, suspending or terminating a Member's account, or referring the matter to law enforcement. The Introduction LLC is not obligated to take any particular action, and its response to any report is not a guarantee of any specific outcome.

16.4 No Retaliation

The Introduction LLC strictly prohibits retaliation against any Member who, in good faith, reports a concern or cooperates in an investigation. Any Member found to have engaged in retaliation may have their account immediately terminated.

17. SUBSCRIPTION BILLING AND AUTO-RENEWAL DISCLOSURE

17.1 Billing

Membership fees are charged as set forth in your Member Contract. By providing payment information and enrolling in a membership, you authorize The Introduction LLC to charge the applicable fees to your designated payment method.

17.2 Auto-Renewal

IMPORTANT AUTO-RENEWAL NOTICE: Unless your membership is expressly designated as non-renewing, your membership will AUTOMATICALLY RENEW at the end of each subscription period for a successive period of the same duration at the then-current membership rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Prior to any auto-renewal, The Introduction LLC will send a renewal reminder to the email address on file at least fourteen (14) days before your renewal date. It is your responsibility to ensure your email address is current and to monitor renewal notices.

17.3 How to Cancel Auto-Renewal

To cancel auto-renewal and prevent the next billing cycle, you must provide written cancellation notice to The Introduction LLC at hello@jointheintroduction.com at least five (5) business days before your renewal date. Cancellation after the renewal date has been charged will not entitle you to a refund of the renewed term's fees, except as required by applicable law.

17.4 Price Changes on Renewal

The Introduction LLC reserves the right to change membership pricing. You will be notified of any price change at least thirty (30) days before your renewal date. Continued membership after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

18. FORCE MAJEURE

The Introduction LLC shall not be liable for any delay in or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms to the extent such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God; natural disasters; pandemic or epidemic; fire; flood; earthquake; war; terrorism; civil unrest; governmental actions or regulations; internet or telecommunications outages; power failures; labor disputes or strikes; or any other event beyond the Company's reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event").

In the event of a Force Majeure Event, The Introduction LLC will use commercially reasonable efforts to resume normal operations as soon as practicable and will notify affected Members of the situation. If a Force Majeure Event prevents the delivery of contracted services for a period exceeding sixty (60) consecutive days, Members affected may be entitled to a prorated refund of prepaid, unused fees for the period during which services were unavailable.

19. TERMINATION

Either party may terminate the Member relationship at any time, subject to the terms of the Member Contract. The Introduction LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:

  • Violation of these Terms or the Member Contract;

  • Conduct that we believe is harmful to other Members or to the Company;

  • Providing false or misleading information;

  • Failure to pay applicable fees;

  • Any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7.4, 8, 10, 13, 14, 20, and 21 shall survive any termination of these Terms.

20. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

20.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The parties acknowledge that this Service constitutes an "introduction service" as defined under applicable Utah law, including the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act (Utah Code § 13-11 et seq.). In the event of any legal actions, the prevailing party shall be entitled to attorney’s fees and court costs. 

20.2 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact The Introduction LLC at hello@jointheintroduction.com and make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute informally within thirty (30) days of providing written notice.

20.3 Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered in Utah County, Utah, in accordance with the then-current rules of a mutually agreed-upon arbitration organization. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

20.4 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND THE INTRODUCTION LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

20.5 Venue

For any matter not subject to arbitration, you agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.

21. UTAH DATING SERVICE — CONSUMER RIGHTS NOTICE

Pursuant to applicable Utah law, including the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act, Members of The Introduction LLC have the following rights:

  • RIGHT TO CANCEL: You have the right to cancel your membership contract within three (3) business days of signing the Member Contract, without penalty, by providing written notice to The Introduction LLC at hello@jointheintroduction.com or 277 E 340 S, Orem, UT 84058.

  • REFUNDS: Upon timely cancellation within the statutory period, any payments made will be refunded within ten (10) business days.

  • WRITTEN CONTRACT: You are entitled to receive a written copy of your Member Contract at the time of signing.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any rights you may have under applicable Utah consumer protection laws.

22. MISCELLANEOUS

22.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Member Contract and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Introduction LLC regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.

22.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

22.3 Waiver

The failure of The Introduction LLC to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

22.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. The Introduction LLC may assign its rights and obligations without restriction.

22.5 Electronic Communications Consent

You consent to receive communications from us electronically. All agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

22.6 Headings

Section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
