Refund Policy

Effective Date: May 2026


At The Introduction, we are committed to maintaining a safe, intentional, and high-quality membership community. Because our application process includes identity verification, administrative review, fraud prevention measures, and onboarding costs, the following refund policy applies.

1. Application & Verification Fee

All applicants are charged a non-refundable Application & Verification Fee at the time of submission.

This fee covers:

  • Identity verification processing

  • Administrative review

  • Fraud prevention and security screening

  • Platform onboarding costs

Submission of an application does not guarantee approval or membership acceptance.


2. Partial Refund for Non-Approved Applicants

If an applicant is not approved for membership, The Introduction may issue a partial refund of the initial fee.

Current Structure

  • Total initial charge: $30

  • Administrative and verification processing fee retained: $15

  • Refund amount for non-approved applicants: $15

Refunds, when applicable, are generally processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.


3. Membership Subscription Charges

Recurring membership subscriptions begin only after approval and activation of membership.

Monthly membership fees are generally non-refundable once billed.

Users may cancel future recurring billing at any time through their account settings or by contacting support before the next billing date.


4. No Refunds for Policy Violations

No refunds will be issued for accounts suspended or terminated due to:

  • Violations of Terms of Service

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Misrepresentation

  • Harassment or unsafe conduct

  • Chargeback abuse

  • Community guideline violations


5. Duplicate Charges & Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or experienced a duplicate billing error, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction.

Verified billing errors will be corrected promptly.


6. Chargeback Policy

Users agree to contact The Introduction support team before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with their bank.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension

  • Permanent removal from the platform

  • Submission of supporting documentation to payment processors


7. Right to Refuse Service

The Introduction reserves the right to refuse membership or service at its discretion in order to protect platform safety, integrity, and community standards.
